NATIONAL REVUE COMPETITION

High School Bekker is really excited and proud to announce that a group from our school has been invited to enter the South African National Revue Competition and Championship. The National Revue Competition will lead to an opportunity for the participants to perform at National level. Schools from all the other provinces will be competing, and representatives from the media will also attend the performances.

What is a Revue?
 It is a medley of dance, music and entertainment!
 It is an entertaining portrayal of song and movement that complement a central theme.

Why the South African Revue Championships?
 A production team is promoting Revue in schools to encourage the optimal development of each participating school.
 It encourages healthy and constructive competition.

Practise times:

Practises have been scheduled for Friday afternoons from 13.40 to 14.40. The regular weekend buses will depart from the hostel at 14.45. Day scholars will be responsible for their own transport home.

Payment is due by 22 July 2016:
We look forward to see all the selected learners at each practise!
